In the Indian context, we firmly believe that hybrid and CNG vehicles are the most effective solution, with fastest results.

Especially, it should be pointed out that hybrid technologies are evolving at a rapid pace.

Suzuki will introduce cutting-edge hybrid vehicles aggressively with technical support from Toyota Motor Corporation.

5.Manufacturing plant of automobile lithiumion battery is under construction in Hansalpur.

In addition to lithium-ion battery, we will localizeother components required for vehicle electrification.

Since the technologies for hybrid and electric vehicles have similarity, we will first localizecomponents of hybrid vehicle and followed by electric vehicle.

In this approach, we will realize Real Make in India in the field of vehicle electrification as well, which surely helps the further expansion of Indian automobile industries.

Together with an enabling policy support from the Government of India, we can jointly think how to scale up our investment and depth of localization.

6.Ladies and gentlemen

I would like to end my speech by making a promise.  We will continue to introduce cutting-edge technologies in India, along with Make inIndia concept, and contribute to sustainable mobility solution for the society.
