SKIPPER bags 524-crore-rupee project from POWER GRID CORP

KOLKATA | MUMBAI | AHMEDABAD-GANDHINAGAR | RAJKOT – In a regulatory filing submitted to the Indian Stock Exchanges, Kolkota headquartered transmission & distribution structure’s manufacturer Skipper Ltd said of having bagged 524 crore (~5.24 billion) rupees project in Rajasthan, from Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, for supply of transmission & distribution equipment & infrastructure.

In a press-release as submitted to the Indian Bourses, titled – “Skipper Limited emerges favourably placed in Project Worth Rs. 524 Crores  from PGCIL” read that, Skipper Limited (BSE: 538562) and NSE (Symbol: SKIPPER), is one of the world’s  leading manufacturers for power transmission & distribution structures and a prominent manufacturer of  Telecom, Railway and Solar Structures.

The company has emerged favorably placed in a new turnkey project of  Rs. 524 crores from Power Grid Corporation Of India Limited for Supply and Installation of 765kV, 190km Hexa Zebra Conductor Transmission Line from Fatehgarh2 to Bhadla2 under TBCB bidding conducted by PFC for Green  Energy Corridor projects.
