RPP Infra enters Gujarat, bags 722-million-rupee orders from Water Supply Dept

ERODE (TAMILNADU) | MUMBAI | GANDHINAGAR-AHMEDABAD | RAJKOT – In a press release submitted to the Indian Exchanges, Tamilnadu (Erode) headquartered RPP Infra Projects Ltd said of having entered Gujarat geography after having bagged project from state water supply department.

RPP Infra Projects is pleased to announce its entry into a new geographic location, Gujarat, via its new order wins worth INR 722 million, in 60:40 ratio joint-venture, with RPP Infra having 40% share, the release read.

The company has secured an order worth INR 405 million in JV, from the Gujarat Water Supply & Sewage Board for package 6 of the Samarsingi Cluster.

Additionally, RPP Infra has received a Letter of Intent for an order worth INR 317 million in JV, from the Gujarat Water Supply & Sewage Board for package 7 of the Tanachhiya Cluster.

Both projects are expected to be completed within 24 months.

The company has been making conscious efforts to widen its geographic footprint in order to expand to new markets as well to reduce dependence on any one state.

After continued success in new states like Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, RPP Infra is excited to grasp new opportunities in Gujarat, the release claimed.

These order wins in joint-venture with another company, marks RPP Infra Projects’ entry into the state of Gujarat.

RPP Infra’s order book at the end of H1FY19 stood at INR 15,000 million & the company has won new orders worth over INR 3,800 million over the last 1 month.

The press release from the company had hit the exchanges in India after the trading session had started.



Somehow the price of the company shares had opened in GREEN Zone on POSITIVE counter, which continued to grab attention from Investors & Traders, further continuing the momentum, finally ending on POSITIVE counters, as the trading session ended on Indian Bourses, on Wednesday.
