Rajesh Exports bags jewelry order of 9.29 billion rupees from UAE

BANGALORE | MUMBAI | AHMEDABAD | RAJKOT – Rajesh Exports Ltd got an exports order from United Arab Emirates (UAE) for designer range of gold-diamond studded jewelry and medallions valued at 9.29 billion (929 crore) rupees scheduled to be completed by March 2017, the company press release said.

The said order will be executed at Bangaluru facility of the company having installed capacity to process 250 tones of jewelry and gold products per annum. With the current order the company’s orderbook now stands at 365.23 billion (36,523 crore) rupees which is to be completed by March 2017, the release said.

Rajesh Mehta, Chariman, Rajesh Exports Ltd was quoted in the release saying of company winning order consistently despite of volatile economic conditions in global markets.

News of company having bagged order worth 9.29 billion rupees burst in initial trading hours after markets opened in India, investors and markets cheered the development, throughout the day Rajesh Exports shares traded upward and ended in green on positive counters on the two leading Indian bourses – The Bombay Stock Exchange and The National Stock Exchange.
