Emmbi inaugurates world’s widest width pond lining facility at Silvassa

SILVASSA-DADRA NAGAR HAVELI | MUMBAI | AHMEDABAD | RAJKOT – Emmbi Industries Ltd inaugurated what is claimed by the company without specifying any dimensions as world’s widest pond lining facility at Silvassa, woven sack material used to cover ponds mainly having applications in aqua-culture trade, this pond liners are manufactured under the brand name ‘Jalsanchay’, the company press release said.

The company aims to manufacture 4,380 pond liners per year at Silvassa facility which will help conserve extra storage capacity of 48 million litres of water per day for the country, the company claims in press release.

The state of Maharashtra and Rajasthan aims to produce 110,000 and 50,000 ponds per year over next five years, which is emerging as a new market segment for the company with business potential upto 20 billion (2,000 crore) rupees and with new facility inaugurated at Silvassa the company aims to capture 10% market-share in pond lining segment, the press release said.

Shares of Emmbi Industries ended in green zone on positive counters on the two leading Indian Exchanges – BSE and NSE.
