AHMEDABAD | GANDHINAGAR | RAJKOT – Registered averaged voters turnout across 26 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of Gujarat for Lok Sabha 2019 Phase-3 polls increased by just 1.54% at 63.90%, over the Lok Sabha 2014 registered voters turnout which was 62.36%.

However the registered electoral numbers added to the election commission’s database in Gujarat grew by 11.12% at 4,51,25,680 new voters in year 2019 from 4,06,02,867 voters in year 2014.

Handsome addition of almost 4.5 million new voters (~to be precise 45 lakh 22 thousand 8 hundred 13 ~ 45,22,813 new voters), to the Election Commission’s database in Gujarat, will now decide where does GUJARAT 26 stand as far as Lok Sabha Seat Share is concerned.

With a spike of mere 1.54% voter turnout in Lok Sabha 2019 polls, there hasn’t been a major change in the turnout registered for Lok Sabha 2014.

But, the new 45,22,813 voters will decide the political course of the state indicating as to where does the GUJARAT 26 stands in terms of 26 constituencies from Gujarat for Lok Sabha 2019.

Barring 6 constituencies of Kutch and Junagadh in Saurashtra-Kutch Zone, Mehsana in North Gujarat Zone, Ahmedabad (West) and Vadodara in Central Gujarat Zone and Bharuch in South Gujarat, all other 20 constituencies witnessed rising in the voter turnout.
