Adani Green appoints joint bookrunners for investor meets in Asia, EU, US to offer 5yr secured bonds

AHMEDABAD | GANDHINAGAR | MUMBAI | RAJKOT – In a regulatory filing submitted to the Indian Stock Exchanges, Ahmedabad headquartered Indian diversified conglomerate’s group company Adani Green Energy Ltd said of having appointed joint bookrunners for arranging fixed income investors meetings in Asia, Europe and United states, directed for offering of secured 5 year bonds.

The filing read,   Adani Green Energy (UP) Limited (“AGEUPL”), Parampujya Solar Energy Private Limited (“PSEPL”) and Prayatna Developers Private Limited (“PDPL” and collectively
with AGEUPL and PSEPL the “Issuers”) are wholly owned subsidiaries of Adani Green Energy Limited.

The Issuers have appointed Barclays, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, J.P. Morgan, MUFG and Standard Chartered Bank as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners and Emirates NBD Capital, SBICAP and YES Bank as Joint Bookrunners to arrange a series of fixed income investor meetings in Asia, Europe and the United States commencing on 16th May, 2019.

An offering of USD-denominated Rule 144A I Reg S [5.5]-years senior secured green bonds (the “Notes”) for benchmark size may follow, subject to market conditions.

The Notes are expected to be rated BB+ by S&P and BB+ by Fitch.
